After the moderately successful Desi Boyz, director Rohit Dhawan's second directorial titled Dishoom stars John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Dhawan in lead.
The film is said to be an action entertainer and the high-octane dirt bike action sequences have been shot in Abu Dhabi and a few chase sequences have been shot at Morocco. The film is in the same space as Bad Boys or Lethal Weapon series and is slated for a mid 2016 release..

In an interview with dna, John Abraham promised that the action in Dishoom will be a new experience for the Indian film audiences. He said:
"The combination of Varun and me is special. I also think we will go on to make the best action pair together in Bollywood for years to come, if Dishoom becomes a franchise."
The actor also promised that Dishoom will be on par with the Dhoom series or rather carry forward the legacy of the Dhoom franchise. He said:

Dishoom is a young franchise because it's a far younger film. And the bike sequences, the chases, the action overall in the film are of really high standards."
John Abraham is currently in Budapest shooting for Force 2 with Sonakshi Sinha and he will start shooting for the next action schedule of Dishoom in December this year which will wrap up by January end.
