Dhadak actress Janhvi Kapoor to play lead in IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena's biopic produced by Karan Johar
The biopic trend is something that has become a successful concept for Bollywood films and real-life based films have flooded the Hindi cinema. Takht director and Dharma Productions owner Karan Johar is planning to produce a biopic on female pilot Gunjan Saxena who was enormously active during Kargil War.
Now reports are that the producer Karan Johar has approached Dhadak actress Janhvi Kapoor to play the heroic pilot in the film. According to some reports, Karan feels that Janhvi Kapoor has those looks and confidence to play this leading role.
Bollywood Hungama quoted a source, “Karan Johar thinks Janhvi has the right posture and attitude to play Gunjan Saxena. No, Janhvi won’t actually fly a helicopter in the film. But she is going to learn how the helicopter works so she looks comfortable inside a helicopter.”
Janhvi made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar produced film Dhadak starring alongside Ishaan Khatter and directed by Shashank Khaitan. After that now Janhvi to be seen in Karan Johar directorial film Takht starring Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal in the leading roles.
