Deepika Padukone took this much amount to say yes to Kabir Khan's 83!
A few days back it was announced that Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is going to star in Kabir Khan directorail film 83. With that announcement, the fans of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh turned excited to see the couple together after their marriage.
While Ranveer Singh will be seen playing legendary cricketer Kapil Dev and will show the journey of team India in 1983 world cup. Whether Deepika Padukone will step into the shoes of Kapil Dev's wife Romi. Now according to the latest media report, Deepika Padukone has charged a huge amount for the small appearance in the film.
The media reports suggest Deepika Padukone charged 14 crores to be a part of the film. According to the sources, it was Ranveer Singh who convinced Deepika to play his wife. The source quoted saying, "She was in two minds and wasn’t sure if she wanted to play a non-central character. I think Ranveer almost convinced her, then the zeros on the cheque did the rest."
Deepika Padukone has just wrapped up the shooting of her next film, Chhapaak directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film also stars Vikrant Massey in the leading and it will depict the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal.
