Bollywood’s diva Deepika Padukone has turned a year older today on 5th January. The gorgeous actress made her debut with Om Shanti Om alongside Shah Rukh Khan in 2007. The actress made the headlines the moment she stepped in the industry. Chhappak actress has given many blockbuster films that entered in Rs 100 crore club.

Deepika’s career graph took a turn with this movie where she portrayed the role of Veronica Malaney, a bold as well as emotionally raw. In the film, she calls herself a ‘rich bitch’ and gets drunk regularly, however deep down she craved for true love. Later, Deepika ‘s character gets mean and impulsive. The actress did complete justice to the character throughout the film and vowed the audience.

Meenamma from Chennai Express

 

Deepika’s character as Meenamma channelled her comic side and surprised the audience with her explicit performance. Well, it was not as easy as it seems and the most popular and hilarious dialogue “bakwaas dictionary” left the audience in splits.

Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming film starring Deepika and Vikrant Massey is going to hit the theatres on 10th January. In the film, she is portraying the role of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. By looking at the trailer we can say the film is going to leave everyone stunned.
