
Proving that reviews don't really reflect mass appeal, Hate Story 3 is being loved at the Box-Office and has already raked in Rs 9.72 crore on its opening day. Major collections have come in from CP, CI and UP, which are the major mass centres in India.

The film recorded decent collections in Mumbai too on its opening day and is all set for a weekend collection of close to Rs 30 crore. The performance of this film will now depend on word of mouth.
Made on a tight budget, the film could well be a safe bet for the producers and will enter the profit zone post the weekend. Films appealing to the masses generally witness a drop in collection on the second day; however it will be interesting to see the kind of hold Hate Story 3 has on Saturday, followed by a jump on Sunday.
