This 2020 has turned out to be a disaster for everyone as every morning we wake up to dreadful news related to Coronvirus, deaths of celebs and now this Cyclone. This year India is going to face two awful cyclones; one has already taken many lives in West Bengal and Odisha and now its Maharashtra and Gujarat’s turn. As per reports by afternoon Cyclone name, Nisarga will reach Maharashtra and Gujarat coasts and is expected to make landfall at Alibaug which about just 100 kilometres away from Mumbai.

Maharashtra govt has issued various guidelines and precautionary measures for all the people in the state. Even entertainment industry is spreading awareness regarding the same to name the few Priyanka Chopra and Akshay Kumar took to their social media handle and urged the people to remain indoors as that’s the only way to be safe.

Akshay took to his Instagram handle and post a video wherein he called the year 2020 "ajeeb" and urged the people to follow the guidelines issued by the state govt. He captioned the video as, “The much-awaited Mumbai rains are here but this year we have an uninvited guest, #CycloneNisarga! In case it does hit us, here are some precautions shared by @my_bmc, we will get through this as well. Praying for everyone’s well-being. For any queries and concerns regarding the cyclone, dial 1916 and press 4.”

 

Whereas, Priyanka Chopra shared all the dos and don'ts issued by the govt on her Twitter handle and prayed for Mumbai’s safety. She wrote, “#CycloneNisarga is making its way to Mumbai, my beloved home city of more than 20 million people, including my mom and brother. Mumbai hasn't experienced a serious cyclone landfall since 1891, and at a time when the world is so desperate, this could be especially devastating.”

Well, India is going from a really tough time, fighting Coronavirus, locust attack, cyclone Amphan and now cyclone Nisarga all at the same time. Indeed it's an alarming situation however we will overcome this too.
