Coronavirus impact on Sooryavanshi: Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn, starrer to release on this date
The news of Sooryanvanshi getting postponed is doing rounds since Reliance Entertainment and Rohit Shetty held a meeting after witnessing Baaghi 3’s box-office collection amid Coronavirus. The whole world is suffering from a deadly virus and now the World Health Organisation (WHO) has also declared it as a pandemic.
This has not just affected the health of people but also the business terribly and now standing at the brim is Sooryavashi that is slated to release on 24th March. As per the sources, Akshay, Rohit, Shibashish Sarkar of Reliance Entertainment and Karan Johar have been holding a meeting regarding the delay of their film and have decided to cancel the launch of their first song from the movie.

Also, the release of the film has been delayed to next month, though the exact date is not confirmed yet as per sources the new release date is expected to be announced on the coming weekend in an official meet.

So far the cases in India have risen to 73 while no deaths have been reported. The cases are increasing at a very rapid speed.
As per Bollywood Hungama, one of the sources quoted, “The postponing of Sooryavanshi's release seems like a wise decision now since footfalls to the theatres seem to be falling at many places both in India and overseas. The Coronavirus threat is real and people don't want to take any chances.”
