Chhapaak: Deepika Padukone adorns new look for Meghna Gulzar’s film; see video
Deepika Padukone’s most talked about film Chhapaak has started with the shooting, in the film she is essaying the role of acid attack survivor Malti. The film is based on Laxmi Agarwal acid attack survivor who is an inspiration for all the ladies out there. Recently, a scene from the movie which has taken the internet on the blaze.
In the video, we can see Deepika adorning the look of sweet-innocent school girl she is accompanied by her on-screen friend and is seen enjoying street food. Earlier, Deepika’s acid-attack look was leaked where she is seen with her co-star Vikrant Massey shooting on the streets of Delhi. She was adorning green kurta and red salwar whereas Vikrant was sporting brown shirt and olive green pants, both were getting down from the auto.
The film is being helmed by Meghna Gulzar whereas for this movie apart acting Deepika will also adorn the cap of the producer. When asked Laxmi about the film she said that it will be a slap on the face of those who thought that after this her life will be ruined but alas! she became a face for all the survivors.
Whereas, Deepika also look elite for the movie even she shared her emotions regarding the film and said that is an important story which needs to be told to the world. She added that this is not about male or female rather it's about humanity and bravery and with this movie they will be able to bring some social change in the society.
