Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Machine

Machine had the best opening among the Hindi film releases this week however being the best amongst the worst would make no difference to fate of the film.

The Abbas – Mustan directorial collected around Rs 1 crore on its opening day and is looking to end its run at collections below Rs 5 crore. Machine had an upper hand over the other releases at UP, Rajasthan and a few other mass centres however that could barely make a difference.

The opening day number of Govinda’s comeback vehicle Aa Gaya Hero was even worse as the film could not even collect Rs 1 crore on its opening day. The collections of the film are in lakhs and it would be yet another major loss maker of 2017.

Badrinath Ki Dulhania continued its good run at the ticket window as the film collected around Rs 4.10 crore on its second Friday. The 8 days collection of Badrinath Ki Dulhania stands at Rs 76 crore. The film is already a hit and is sure to breach past the Rs 100 crore mark by end of this week.
