Blackmail Box Office Collection Day 1: Irrfan Khan, Kirti Kulhari's 'love, sex and dhokha' version did not impress the audience much
This week Bollywood witnessed the release of Irrfan Khan, Kirti Kulhari starrer 'Blackmail.' Everyone was expecting that since the plot of the film seemed different, the movie will be able to gather audiences at the box-office but this did not happened the same way. The first day collection of the movie at the box-office has been quite low that made the actor's fans sad.
It was being expected that the movie will gather as many as 4 crores on the day one but as per the trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie has only managed to earn 2.81 crores on the first day. The same would have happened maybe because of the release of Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi 2 that has gathered an immense amount of crores as well as love from the audiences.
Taran took to his Twitter account and shared the news with everyone. He tweeted, “#Blackमेल had a slow start in morning shows, but gathered momentum post evening at plexes [like most metro-centric movies]… Sat and Sun biz is crucial… Will give an idea of how strong it will sustain on weekdays… Fri ₹ 2.81 cr. India biz.”

Talking about Baaghi 2, the movie starrs Tiger Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Prateek Babbar in pivotal roles and has managed to earn as many as Rs 100 crore in just a week of its release. Maybe that is the raeson why everyone is comparing the movie Blackmail with that of Baaghi 2.
Talking about Blackmail, the movie has Kirti Kulhari. Divya Dutta, Arunoday Singh, and Omi Vaidya in leading roles and has been released around the world with 1861 screens and in India it has grabbed 1550 screens.
A few days back, the news of Irrfan's disease made everyone go crazy. Later, the actor announced that he was suffering from NeuroEndocrine Tumor and for that he went to London for the treatment of the disease.
Irrfan Khan's movie that released last year Hindi Medium collected Rs 3 crore on day one but the movie got an immense amount of collection during the weekend and so it might be possible that this time too, Irrfan's movie will be able to gain crores on the silver screens.
