Alankrita Shrivastava made her presence felt in the Bollywood industry with Lipstick Under My Burkha. The film was power packed and had hit right at the money when it was reviewed by the audience.
Earlier the reports suggested that that Alankrita Shrivastava and producer Ekta Kapoor will re-unite for another movie which would be centered on female/ female-centric.
Now, as per latest reports published in the DNA, the makers of the film have roped in Bhumi Pednekar and Konkana Sen Sharma to play the leading roles of the film. Both the actors are pretty good in the efficiency and are strong enough to get mesmerize the audience and the fans.
Looking at the films script, if it is women-centric, then these two actresses are the best choices so far. As per sources, “Konkona Sensharma has been signed on for the other female lead’s part. The character needed to be essayed by a powerful actor, and when the think tank at the production house was discussing whom they should pitch the film to, they felt Koko (as Konkona is fondly called) would suit the part really well.”
The sources said that this film will also be proven to be a powerful as Alankrita’s last flick and will create an impact in the society and audience; and certainly a desi tadka will be added to it.
“Alankrita also wanted Konkona in the film, given that they have already worked together in Lipstick Under My Burkha last year. She has signed on the dotted line. In fact, both Bhumi and Konkona shot for the picture announcing the film earlier this week itself,” the source added.
