Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana became an overnight star with his debut film Vicky Donor. The film was also John Abraham's first film as a producer and also debut directorial film for Shoojit Sircar. Even after that, the film did amazing at the box office and the trio gets best in their careers as well.
However, today we are going to tell you something interesting about Vicky Donor as it was not supposed to be Ayushmann Khurrana's debut film. Actually, the role of Vicky Arora, a sperm donor was first offered to Vivek Oberoi. Yes, that's true, Vivek Oberoi who is currently busy in the promotions of his next biopic film PM Narendra Modi was asked to play the leading role Shoojit Sircar's film.
Although, Vivek Oberoi was ready to sign the role but later makers changed their mind and send the role of Sharman Joshi. However, later it went to Ayushmann Khurrana and he was finalized to play it. Now after seven years of Vicky Donor, now Vivek revealed that in an interview and also regretted for not doing it.
While talking about Vicky Donor, Vivek Oberoi said, "So, a film that I missed out on doing was Vicky Donor. It is an exceptional film, but now when I look at the film, I feel that I couldn't have done what Ayushmann did in it."
Even though, this is not the first film for that Vivek Oberoi is regretting for, earlier also he revealed that one more film Munna Bhai MBBS was offered to him but due to date clashes he won't be able to do it.
