So we've all seen boys bonding in Dil Chahta Hai, Yaraana, Rang De Basanti, 3 Idiots, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, et all. Now see a group of girls live it up in filmmaker Pan Nalin's Angry Indian Goddesses, which is also being touted as India's 'first female buddy movie'.
With its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, the film recounts the story of seven friends, who are struggling to find meaning in their respective lives.
The ensemble cast includes Amrit Maghera, Pavleen Gujral, Anushka Manchanda, Sarah-Jane Dias, Rajshri Deshpande, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Sandhya Mridul.

Angry Indian Goddesses promises to be an off-beat film with touches of feminism. And with what it seems from the trailer, Nalin has made it a point to not confuse feminism with the notion of 'hating men', which makes the film rather distinct.
