Alia Bhatt to be paired with Sidharth Malhotra

The rumoured love birds, Alia and Sidharth are likely to play a couple in their next film

Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra have apparently been offered to do a film together. A source says, "Shakun Batra has said to have started working on his next, which is a romantic film. Recently he met Alia and Sidharth and narrated the script to them. Both the actors have apparently liked the script and agreed to be part of the film."

Shakun,Alia and Siddharth had worked together in Kapoor & Sons which went on to become a hit and managed to get critical acclaim too. Alia and Sidharth who did their debut film, Student of the year together, have been linked since then. The couple, however, have always maintained that they are only good friends. Recently, they were spotted coming out of the international airport together, leading to speculations that they were holidaying together.

The couple is also likely to be part of Bhatt banner's Ashiqui's third installment. Though both the actors have confirmed being part of this film, the project itself might take some time to start.

Other than that, Sidharth has Reload co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez and directed by Raj and D.K in his kitty, While Alia has completed Badrinath Ki Dulhania with Varun Dhawan and she will soon begin work on Ayan Mukerji's superhero flick Dragon with Ranbir Kapoor.
