Akshay Kumar to play lead in Neeraj Pandey's next biopic on Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor
Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is on cloud nine these days and his back to back successful films are definitely the reason for it. The time is really right for Akshay Kumar and his films mainly based on patriotism and nationalism are doing good in the theaters as well. After giving many commercially successful films, he is currently, waiting for the release of his next film Mission Mangal.
Mission Mangal is based on the true incident of India's successful mission to Mars. Well, in between that reports are Akshay Kumar has given nod to one more film of filmmaker Neeraj Pandey. If believe to the reports, Akshay Kumar has approached to play the lead role in Neeraj Pandey's next film based on the life of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
The reports suggest that Neeraj Pandey is currently writing the script of the biopic and it will be a thriller drama. The film will showcase the highlights of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval's life. Although, the film may take time to get on the floors as Neeraj Pandey first will direct Chankaya starring Ajay Devgn.
"Neeraj will first make Chanakya with Ajay Devgn, which was announced a few months ago. Akshay also has to complete prior commitments. The team wants to lock the script before making an official announcement,” a source quoted in Mid-Day.
It is being told that Neeraj Pandey will also showcase the current works done by Ajit Doval in Modi government. From surgical strike to air-strike and now Kashmir solution, Ajit Doval had played a very important role in all these missions.
