Akshay Kumar refuses to spill the beans about his special cameo in Dishoom

Dishoom, starring Varun Dhawan and John Abraham, is scheduled to hit the screens on 29 July.

The theatrical trailer of the film, which was recently unveiled, promises a fun, action-packed thriller that will ride on the chemistry between John Abraham and Varun Dhawan.

For a while now, reports have been doing the rounds that Akshay Kumar will have a cameo appearance in the film. It was reported that Akshay would play a gay character in the film.

A few photos that were leaked on social media fuelled the reports further. However, on being asked to talk about his cameo in Dishoom, Akshay said:

"Yes, I have a very special role in Dishoom... How can you make out from the picture that I am playing a gay character in the film? It is not true. Watch the film, it is a fun role."

Dishoom, which is directed by Rohit Dhawan, stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles.
