Akshay Kumar - Priyadarshan's next film will be shot in Mumbai and Punjab

After collaborating successfully on films like Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag, Garam Masala, De Dana Dan to name a few, Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan are back for yet another comic entertainer, produced by Rohit Shetty.

Reportedly, Khiladi will essay the character of a loud Punjabi in the film, which goes on floors in the end of March. The comic caper also stars veteran actor Paresh Rawal in a pivotal role, however details about his character have been kept under wraps.

The entire film will be shot at two locations i.e. Mumbai and Punjab. Unlike other Priyadarshan films, this one will also have a strong romantic angle. The heroine is yet to be finalised.

In an interview to a leading daily, the director confirmed the development and even added that he is working on the script with Chennai Express writer, Yunus.

"The film is being written by me and Chennai Express writer, Yunus. The actress is yet to be finalised. After three years of silence, I made Oppam (2016), which is the biggest hit of my career. Its success is so inspiring. It's time to come to Bollywood again," said Priyadarshan.

Ann official announcement about the film title and release date is expected to be made once the makers officially sign a leading lady for the film.
