Akshay Kumar beats Shah Rukh Khan: Housefull 3 to get the widest release of 2016

Akshay Kumar's upcoming comic entertainer, Housefull 3is set to get the biggest release of 2016 as the distributors, Eros International, are targeting to release the film on over 3,500 screens across India. The screen count of Housefull 3 will surpass Shah Rukh Khan's Fan (3,500 screens), beecoming the highest for any 2016 film till now.

This is the third installment of the successful Housefull franchise. Its estimated runtime is just a little over two and a half hours. Like Housefull and Housefull 2, even Housefull 3 is expected to be rated 'U/A - Universal Adult'.

The movie will remain the biggest release of 2016 till the release of Sultan, which will target a release on over 4,500 screens in India.

Housefull 3 will release a day prior to its Indian release i.e. 2 June 2016, at Dubai, Norway and Germany. The makers plan to have a grand release abroad as well; however the final screen count will be much below Shah Rukh Khan's Fan in the overseas market.
