After PUBG ban in India, Akshay Kumar announces launch of Indian origin action game, FAU-G

A piece of good news for mobile game lovers as Akshay Kumar has announced the launch of an action game, FAU-G in support of the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The announcement of the FAU-G game has come after the Indian government has recently banned the PUBG game in India.


Taking the information to Twitter, Khiladi Kumar wrote, “Supporting PM @narendramodi’s AtmaNirbhar movement, proud to present an action game,Fearless And United-Guards FAU-G. Besides entertainment, players will also learn about the sacrifices of our soldiers. 20% of the net revenue generated will be donated to @BharatKeVeer Trust #FAUG”

 

Along with PUBG, the Indian government had banned 117 other Chinese apps amid the ongoing border tensions between India and China.

According to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the decision "is a targeted move" to ensure safety, security and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace.

FAU-G app has been developed by nCore Games, a mobile games and interactive entertainment company based out of Bengaluru as per its profile on LinkedIn.

“We primarily develop multi-player games with immersive storylines that have a strong connect with Indian ethos. We also bring to India and publish games from top global studios for the Indian market,” the company said.
