After Laila Majnu, Imtiaz Ali to direct an eternal love story of Radha Krishna; announcement on Janmashtami

These days director Imtiaz Ali is promotions his next production venture Laila Majnu, directed by his youngest brother Sajid Ali. The film is based on the famous love tale of Laila and Majnu. However, before the release of Laila Majnu, director Imtiaz Ali announced his next directorial venture based on eternal love epic saga of Radha and Krishna.

The film will be made under Reliance Entertainment and Imtiaz Ali's Windows Seat, the announcement of the film made on the auspicious festival of Janmashtami. The love story of Radha Krishna is incredible and also the famous love tale of India, even in some segments we have seen examples of their love story.

 

Imtiaz Ali said, "I have always been fascinated by the eternal love story of Radha and Krishna. In all of Indian folklore I know of no other story, which is so intensely personal and yet has such an epic scale. It has been my dream to step into the world of Radha Krishna."

It is amazing that even after they never met together, whenever we take Krishna's names it is totally incomplete without Radha. Their love story is something that is unbeatable and classic, and in the Indian cinema, we have not seen such a big film in their love story.

 

The film will be written and directed by Imtiaz Ali and this story is really close to his heart. However, it is being told that Imtiaz Ali will not direct this film immediately as he is targetting it for 2020, before this, he will make another film that is not confirmed yet.
