After Anushka Sharma, this Padmaavat actor to get Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award
The prestigious award Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award is given to people who have excelled in their field of work. In a recent announcement that was made, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has been finalized to receive the excellence award for being a successful producer in the industry. After the actress, another name has been chosen for the award and you will be happy to know that the name is of Ranveer Singh.
Ranveer, who was last seen in Padmaavat playing the character of fierce Alauddin Khilji, will receive the award for the same film and his amazing talent of acting. He will take the award in his pocket for the best actor and his fans cannot control their excitement over the same.
Ranveer's amazing performance and Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's sizzling chemistry along with a great plot made the movie earn as many as 300 crore at the box office. Each and everyone appreciated the actors, their acting, the plot, costumes and what not. Amongst the three Ranveer managed to grab the attention of the audiences more with his path-breaking performance in the film.
The Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award is given by the government and the news was announced to the world as well as to Ranveer through a statement that read as follows, “We take immense pleasure to inform you that you have been finalised for The Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award 2018 for the memorable role for the Padmaavat.”
This will be Ranveer's third best actor award for his film and we are sure that the actor cannot keep his excitement, knowing the fact that the actor is filled up with a lot of energy. Also, his girlfriend Deepika with whom a lot of marriage rumors are doing rounds will also be happy about the same.

Talking about Anushka, she will be awarded the prize for giving out different genres in the films of her production house NH 10, Phillauri and Pari. She will next be seen in Sui Dhaaga and Zero starring Varun Dhawan and Shah Rukh Khan respectively.
