After Akshay Kumar in 'Padman', this star to become 'Padwoman'
Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's upcoming movie 'Padman' is a story of a man who makes the cheapest machine of sanitary napkins. The interesting thing is that Miss World Manushi Chhillar is also working on the same social issue and she also wants to continue her work.
In a recent media interaction, Manushi Chillar said: "Sanitary napkins are the necessity of women neither luxury items."
She adds: "Periods are natural qualities and sanitary napkins are the necessity of women that should be provided on the cheapest amount. So that all women in India can be possible to buy sanitary napkins. That's why I took the initiative with the local company and even provided it to women. I want to aware women so all can do something on this issue."
This is to notice that Manushi Chhillar is a doctor by profession and not only this, her parents are also doctors so they all want to do something for women.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar starrer film Padman is all set to release on 26th January 2017, and the film also stars Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor in leading roles. The film has been directed by R. Balki and it is also the first production film of former actress Twinkle Khanna.
