Veteran Bollywood singer Udit Narayan’s son Aditya has turned a year older today. The singer started his career as a child artist and then went on to sing for superhit films as a kid. His most successful song was “Chhota Baccha Jaan Ke” from film Masoom, for this he also earned first major film award, the Screen Awards critics’ Best Child Singer in 1997.

Ever since then the singer-cum-actor has always been in news either for his singing or his relationship status. But more than this he has been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons. So on his birthday let’s recall Aditya’s 3 big controversies that grabbed immense eyeballs.


Being slapped

 

It was in 2011 when the singer was slapped by a girl in a pub allegedly for his indecent behaviour. As per reports, the singer went to a pub with his friends and girlfriend and there he got drunk heavily. An onlooker told Mid-Day that Aditya Narayan passed a nasty comment on a girl and even fell on her. On seeing this, the girl gave him a tight slap across his face leaving everyone stunned.

As soon as this news came out Aditya strongly denied it and said that the girl is doing for publicity nothing else.

Abusive behaviour with an airline staffer

 

This incident happened in 2017 when Aditya who was travelling with his band members was stopped at the Raipur airport for the excess baggage of 40 kg. The Singer was asked to pay the charges of Rs 13,000 after payment only they will permit him to travel. On hearing this Singer decided to pay not more than Rs 10,000 and ended up getting embroiled in a verbal spat with a staffer.

During the spat, Aditya passed on a derogatory comment of him which grabbed everyone's eyeballs. He said, “Mumbai pahunchne de, teri chaddhi nahi utaari toh mera naam Aditya Narayan nahi.” Next day this spat was on the front page of every newspaper.

Held for rash driving

 

Two years back Aditya was held by Versova Police for rash driving after he rammed his car into an autorickshaw, leaving the driver and passenger badly hurt. The incident happened in the afternoon however, by the end of the day he was granted bail with a fine of Rs 10,000. As per reports, Aditya himself took both the injured people to the hospital and admitted them om Kokilaben hospital.
