Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' wins Best Asian Film Award at Australian Gala

Aamir Khan starrer 'Dangle' won the Best Asian Film Award in 7th Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards.

Jury member veteran actress Shabana Azmi for the best Asian film tweeted on Wednesday, “'Dangal' wins Best Asian Film at AACTA. Congratulations Team 'Dangal'”


For the first time in Indian film history it happened even after months of release a Bollywood flick that it is being appreciated this way abroad. The movie Dangal, that broke many records of earnings in China, has now reached the No. 1 position in Hong Kong's box office.

Right now, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh has shared film's earning figures on Twitter. According to these figures, the film was second position at Hong Kong's box office. The film was enjoyed by Hong Kong viewers so much that the movie has now reached to the number one position.

From Thursday to Saturday, the film has made a collection of Rs 2.95 crore on this foreign box office. According to the Trade Expert, if we see the film's earning, then there is an increase of 96.48%. It is expected that the film can record good earnings in the coming days.
