Aamir Khan gets trolled after he met Turkish First Lady; netizens call him 'irresponsible Indian'

However, his meeting with Erdogan didn’t digest by the social media users and they started trolling the actor.

In no time, Internet users started commenting negative comments about the actor and also slammed him for being a ‘hypocrite’ and an ‘irresponsible Indian’.

Another commented, “Aamir Khan Refused to join Nationalist Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu when he was in Mumbai. But he Went to Turkey to meet Turkish PM who supports Pakistan on Kashmir issue and also gave anti-india statements. Won’t be surprised if #AamirKhan feels unsafe again in India.”

On the other hand, Turkish First Lady Emine Erdogan wrote about her meeting the PK actor, "I had the great pleasure of meeting Aamir Khan, the world-renowned Indian actor, filmmaker, and director, in Istanbul. I was happy to learn that Aamir decided to wrap up the shooting of his latest movie 'Laal Singh Chaddha' in different parts of Turkey. I look forward to it."

The official website of Presidency of the Republic of Turkey said that the 55-year-old actor briefed Emine Erdogan about the social responsibility projects he is associated with. While the first lady congratulated him for addressing social works in his film, news agency PTI reported.

For the 'Laal Singh Chaddha' shooting, Aamir flew to Turkey last week. The film is directed by Advait Chandan. It is the Hindi remake of Hollywood film ‘Forrest Gump’ and also features Kareena Kapoor Khan.
