
1. Sonu Nigam made his debut as an actor in Bollywood as a child artist way back in 1982. He made an appearance in the song Saathi Tere Naam from Ustadi Ustad Se. After that, he acted in several other films, such as Kaam Chor (1982) and Betaab (1983) to name a few.
2. Sonu revolutionised Bollywood music by introducing a modern style of singing with the song Yeh Dil Deewana from Shah Rukh Khan's Pardes.
3. In the early '90s, Sonu debuted as a singer with Agar Aasman Tak Mere Haat Jaate for the Mithun Chakraborty-Ayesha Jhulka starrer Meherbaan (1993). The song never got its due but remains one of Sonu Nigam's finest songs.
4. He has sung in almost all Indian languages, including Hindi, Oriya, Tamil, Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi, Malayalam and Telugu.
