US teen criticizes India’s CAA in her make-up video tutorial; Internet in splits

After passing of Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) from both houses (lower and upper), the protest was started across the country and people have taken law and orders in the hands and even destroyed the public properties during the protest against CAA and NRC.

The protest against CAA has not only become the national interest but also sought the attention of other countries, including the USA. A YouTuber and human rights activist Feroza Aziz who recently gained popularity for her video on China, in which she criticized the treatment of Uighur Muslims in China by making multiple videos in TikTok through a make-up tutorial. Later, she removed the clips and also issued an apology to her fans.


Now she is back with another make-up tutorial video on Twitter and Instagram in which she has come up with skincare routine. Later, she started slamming India’s Citizenship Amendment Act.

She posted the video on Twitter on December 24 with a caption, “Love this new skincare routine I found! It’s amazing #CAB #spreadawareness"

Feroza has highlighted some pints about CAA in her video. She said, “I also want to speak about the CAB bill that was passed in India which basically excludes Muslims to be granted citizenship in India and also requires Muslims to show document proofs that they are, in fact, Indian citizens."

"It is wrong and it is immoral. This is a violation of human rights because this bill supposedly acts as a bill that grants refuge and sanction to those who need it, but to exclude such a vast number of people solely on religion is wrong and immoral," she continued.

The human rights activist also said, "It doesn’t matter if you are Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian or Jain it does not matter what religion you follow, that does not make you any less or any more of an Indian. And that’s that."

And then she continued talking about her skin routine.

The video has divided netizens as many people supported her while many called her misinformed.
