Tigers attack kitten in hair-raising clip shared by Dubai princess
Sheikha Latifa, one of the daughters of the Dubai ruler, has put out a spine-chilling video of a kitten that found its way into a tiger cage and was attacked by the big cats.
The video shared by the princess on Instagram shows a white tiger dropping the kitten on the ground before two other tigers also surround it.
The kitten was seen putting up a courageous fight but would have eventually been unsuccessful in getting away, had it not been for two keepers who came to it’s rescue. In the video, two people were seen rushing into the tiger cage to chase the big cats away from the kitten.
Reportedly, Sheikha Latifa owns a number of exotic pets. In her Instagram bio, she mentions that she is an "animal lover" and "most of the posts" on her handle display her pets.
Putting out the clip of the kitten rescue, the princess wrote: "This little stray got into one of the tiger enclosures and was caught by the tigers." She added that the "brave miracle kitten" was doing well after being rescued and "won't be a little stray anymore."

Another clip shared as part of the same post displays that the kitten was grabbed by one of the white tigers. In her Instagram stories, the princess poted an update on the kitten, saying that it was being treated by the vet.
The kitten, although scared, did not seem to suffer any external injuries. A video of the kitten being checked with clamping scissors, however, displays that the kitten lost some sensation in its tail.
"They're checking for pain response to see if the nerve was damaged," Sheikha Latifa explained in the comments section. "And there was no pain response which unfortunately means it was damaged," she added.
On her Instagram handle, the princes ofter shares updates on her pets, which include orangutans, lions, chimpanzees, birds and horses.
Earlier, Sheikha Latifa had shared the link to her YouTube channel. "The channel shows the Sheikha's incredible wildlife homed in her sanctuary by the iconic Burj Al Arab," its description says.
In the meantime, the kitten rescue video has earned a lot of love on social media.
