Man inserts 20 cm eel into rectum; what happens next will shock you!

The shocking incident was reported from Xinghua, East China’s Jiangsu Province.

Another shocking part of this incident was that the eel managed to move from his rectum, tear a hole through the colon and enter his abdomen area.

Reportedly, the man felt shy to see the doctor, however, after experiencing severe pain in his abdomen, he decided to visit the hospital, The Global Times reported.

Doctors conducted surgery to remove the eel from his body. Surprisingly, the eel was still alive when it was removed from the man’s abdomen.

According to the doctor who conducted the operation, the patient could have died as the bacteria in the large intestine may cause hemolysis when it reaches the abdominal cavity.

In a similar incident, a 50-year-old man also inserted a 15-inch eel into his rectum to cure constipation. Because of this act, he suffered severe sepsis, septic shock and was unable to communicate coherently. The case was reported from South China’s Guangdong Province.

He was admitted to the Dongguan Huangjiang Hospital where a CT scan revealed that the eel had entered into his abdominal cavity.

The doctors conducted an emergency surgery to remove the eel. However, it was not alive when it was extracted from the man’s body.
