Fitness coach drowns while saving woman who jumped into stormy sea; tragic video goes viral
A horrific incident caught on camera wherein a Russian fitness coach drowned while he was saving a woman who jumped into stormy seas off the coast of Spain.
The video of the harrowing incident has gone viral on social media. In the video, a fitness coach identified as Daniil Gagarin(30) jumped into the water to save a woman identified as Emma Mönkkönen, who was also a fitness coach, after she got into trouble in the stormy waters off a resort at La Zorra cove in Torrevieja.

Moments later, the duo can be seen trapped by the monstrous Mediterranean waves, somehow Gagarin managed to save Emma, and then they moved onto a rock from the treacherous waters.
But, the monstrous waves around them washed them away as they couldn’t hold on for long.
The petrifying video was recorded by Daniil Gagarin’s wife Darya Gargina, who can be heard crying hysterically as her husband and the other woman swept into the sea.
After the unfortunate and tragic incident, a major search operation was launched and the Finnish woman’s body was found almost two miles from the cove. While the dead body of Daniil Gagarin was found the next day.
Daniil Gagarin and Emma Mönkkönen worked at a fitness centre at a gym in the Spanish resort.
