Cobra swallows huge viper after a fight; scary video goes vira
A horrifying video of a giant Indian cobra eating a five-foot Russell’s viper has surfaced on the Internet.
The clip was shared by the Wildlife SOS-GSPCA team on Twitter along with a caption, “Witness an epic battle! Indian #cobra was seen swallowing Russell's #viper #snake in #Vadodara #Gujarat”

In the video, the Indian cobra can be seen slowly eating the viper by stretching its jaws to consume the reptile’s head first and then whole.
The Wildlife SOS-GSPCA team was called to Madhu Farm, in Kalali, India, where the six-foot Indian cobra was caught eating its gargantuan five-foot viper after a fight between two snakes.
The team reached the spot to rescue the cobra from the farmhouse and released it back to its natural habitat.

Meanwhile, the viral video has left netizens shocked.
Wildlife SOS is a non-profit charity that rescues and rehabilitates wildlife across India.
According to the description of Wildlife SOS, “known for ending the 400-year-old practice of dancing bears in India, we also combat poaching, conflict and rescue elephants, leopards & other wild animals.”
