Angry elephant smashes bus windscreen, passengers scream in shock; hair-raising video goes viral
A horrifying moment captured on camera shows an elephant attacking the government bus in southern India. In the video, the tusker smashed the windshield of the bus.
According to Daily Mail, the incident took place on Saturday morning when the state-owned bus was ferrying government employees from Kotagiri to Mettupalayam. The whole dramatic moment was captured by a passenger inside the bus.
In the clip, the large elephant is seen hitting the bus and smashing the glass with its tusk.

However, passengers also got scared after seeing the animal attack the bus.

Since the video went viral on social media, netizens are applauding the driver for keeping his cool at such a stressful and terrifying moment.
The video was shared by Supriya Sahu, Principal Secretary, Environment, Climate Change, and Forests, at the Government of Tamil Nadu. Sahu also praised the driver for his actions during such a critical situation.
