Now Donald Trump believes that US President Barack Obama was born in America

Donald Trump has finally admitted that US President Barack Obama was born in the United States of America.

This is a sharp turnaround from Trump's infamous campaign about Obama's birthplace. However, while he seems to have put all that behind him. Instead, Trump has now trained his guns at his Democratic counterpart Hillary Clinton, alleging that she was the one who began the 'birther movement' in the first place.

"President Barack Obama was born in the United States, period," Trump was quoted as saying, adding that he was only finishing what Clinton had started.

Interestingly, the Republican has been facing increasing pressure to distance himself from the birther controversy, which had once helped fuel his rise.

It is believed that Trump's involvement had aligned him with white nationalists.
