Ever since actress Tanushree Dutta opened up about her sexual harassment accident with Nana Patekar, the people on social media are coming up with their hidden stories that they are sharing under the #MeToo campaign and a lot of big names have come under the scrutiny of the same such as Alok Nath, Chetan Bhagat, Sajid Khan, Vikas Bahl and many others. Well, recently popular singer Neha Kakkar has also opened up about her story how her co-singers Anu Malik and Vishal Dadlani made things uncomfortable for her.
Neha's story isn't related to the #MeToo campaign but to the fact that she was underestimated just for the fact that her age and experience in the industry was last. Neha, who, in just a short period of time become a sensation in the singing industry and in between the fans for her amazing talent of singing. Neha, who is presently seen judging the popular reality show Indian Idol 10 also was once a part of the show.
Neha who now judges the singing reality show is also accompanied by Anu Malik and Vishal Dadlani about whom she opened up that they made her feel uncomfortable once during the course of the show because of their experience. Neha, during an interview that she gave to Mid-Day said, "When we began shooting, I did feel uncomfortable owing to their experience. I felt like they were giving me the vibes; questioning, 'What is she doing here?' However, they changed after they took note of my judging abilities. Now, they agree with my opinions, and even appreciate them."
Talking further about the show and the contestants and their method of judging them she said that when they are selecting contestants, they focus only on their singing abilities and other aspects such as their personal experiences and their stories are always given second priority.
Neha, who also came from a very simple background has made her name in the industry and when she was asked her secret mantra to success she said that it was all, "talent, coupled with hard work and luck" that made her achieve all this. Recently, Neha's new song has created raves of excitement amongst the fans.
She along with Jassi Gill has sung a peppy song and about the same she said, "Jassi calls me his favourite female singer and he always wanted to work with me. It's a peppy number that also sees us dancing. I've always loved to do so, despite the fact that, like singing, I never learnt to dance professionally."
