Since a long time, there were the reports that the producers of the show The Kapil Sharma Show have been called a complete ban on Navjot Singh Sidhu after his unapologetic statement on Pulwama attack. The cricketer turned MP just after the attack said that the terrorism doesn't connect with any religion or country.

Now finally, the IFTDA (Indian Film And Television Directors Association) has released an official statement confirmed the removal of Navjot Singh Sidhu from The Kapil Sharma Show. Actually, the statement of Sidhu was enough to hurt the sentiments of Indian and trollers even bashed him for supporting Pakistan and his friend from cricket and PM of Pakistan, Imran Khan.

However, even after seeing all controversies, Kapil Sharma has extended support to Sidhu. In one statement he said, "These are very small things, or can also be a part of propaganda. I feel banning someone or sacking Navjot Singh Sidhu from the show is not the solution. We need to look for a permanent solution."

Meanwhile, the IFTDA has called a final call on the whole issue and they even have urged the film workers to not work with Sidhu and Pakistani artists for a homage to the martyrs. Now Archana Puran Singh will replace Sidhu in The Kapil Sharma Show.
