Royal Enfield 650: Prince William stumped by the looks of new Indian Cruiser bike

Prince William, a member of British Royal family and son of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer got stumped by the flaunting look of Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, a flagship bike of Indian Motorcycle manufacturer. Prince Williams was present at an event of Commonwealth heads meeting in London on 16th April.

Prince William is well known for his love for bikes also, he has various superbikes in his collection. The head of Royal Enfield Sidharth Lal was giving an introduction of Interceptor 650 to Prince William. This motorcycle may launch soon after the company and Prince William was looking convinced to add it to his collection. Royal Enfield posted on social media "HRH seemed to be quite taken with the New Interceptor 650 & spent some time quizzing Royal Enfield CEO Siddhartha Lal about the soon to be available Twin."

 

Royal Enfield revealed the curtain from Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 in EICMA in Milan. This motorcycle has twin cylinder of 648 cc air/oil cooled engine which produce 47 bhp and 52 Nm of torque. It has 6 speed gearbox and slip assist clutch. The noteble thing is the price of Royal Enfield 650 which is around Rs 3.5 lakh, in this range no other bike with 650 cc has been launched in the market.

The official of company said “enjoying its first full year of operations, and with productivity optimisation at its Oragadam plant, Royal Enfield will have an annual production capacity of about 950,000 units"
