Coolpad Note 3 gets price cut in India, now available at Rs 8,499

Chinese mobile company Coolpad has slashed the price of its Note 3 to Rs 8,499 for the Indian market.

The smartphone, earlier priced at Rs 8,999, is available exclusively on the e-shopping portal, Amazon India. However, the new prices are subjected to the availability of the stocks.

The Coolpad Note 3 is known one to be of the cheapest fingerprint scanner loaded smartphones in India. These scanner also senses the 360-degree rotation.

Specifications of the Coolpad Note 3

  • 5.5-inch HD display
  • Runs on Android 5.1 out of the box
  • Loaded with octa-core Mediatek MT6753 SoC processor
  • 2GB of RAM,16GB inbuilt storage
  • Following the popularity and positive response, the company is also planning to launch an Indian version of the CoolPad Note 3 smartphone - loaded with 3 GB RAM.

    The Chief Executive Officer of Coolpad, Syed Tajuddin, said, "We are committed in our endeavor to bring exclusive products to the Indian market and you can expect some innovative products from Coolpad soon, we will continue rolling out initiatives for Coolpad enthusiasts across the country by expanding our after sales service network and establishing some offline touch points for robust after sales support".

    "The next few months Coolpad will be making an aggressive leap in both the range of exclusive products for the Indian Market and a strong customer support network, The recent price roll back is a gift to our loyal customers and their peers that want to experience the Coolpad Note 3 device," the CEO said.
