Taiwanese tech-giant Asus has announced the launch of three of new smartphones from its ZenFone 3 series in the international market.
The event, Zenovolution, will be held ahead of Computex 2016 - scheduled to be held from 31 May to 4 June in Taipei.
So far, the specifications of the new phones have not been made public.
All that has been revealed so far is that the phones will come loaded with USB Type-C ports along with the QuickCharge technology.
According to reports, the ZenFone 3 series will have a fingerprint sensor and several other impressive features.
One of the phones - codenamed Z010DD - is rumoured to have the following specifications:
- 5.9-inch HD display
- A 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-MP front camera
- Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC
- 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of inbuilt storage
Another phone, the Z012D, will reportedly be loaded with a 5.5-inch full-HD screen, a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of inbuilt memory.
However, another report stated that the smartphones have 2.5D glass front and back, a curved frame and laser autofocus, besides the aforementioned fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C port.
