Chinese tech-giant Xiaomi's Redmi Note 3 will be launched in India on 3 March, Hugo Barra, the company's vice-president announced on Monday, 22 February.
In a Facebook post, Barra said, "Indian Mi fans, I've got GREAT news for you today-Redmi Note 3 has finally finished orbiting around India and will launch in New Delhi on March 3!"
"It's the date you've all been waiting for the most, and we can't wait to finally bring Redmi Note 3 to everyone there."
The launch of company's flagship smartphone Mi 5 is scheduled for 24 February. The Redmi Note 3 will be Xiaomi's second launch this year.
Barra also invited Mi fans to join the launch event of the Redmi Note 3. "No launch event is complete without our awesome Mi fans, so we're opening registration for the event today," he added.
The Redmi Note 3 is likely to be loaded with a 3GB RAM, latest Snapdragon 820 chipset along with an 8 MP front camera.
