Motorola Moto G 4th generation to have 16 MP camera, Android 6.0

After the success of the Moto G 3rd generation phones, the tech giant has now made its foray into the 4th generation phones with the Moto G4 series.

While much has been reported about the specifications of the new device, speculation is still high about the latest offering from Motorola.

Thankfully, the company has started putting up the teasers of the device, giving various hints.

A Twitter user, Roland Quandt, recently posted a detailed sheet of the phone's specifications on the microblogging platform.

Here are the specifications:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 617
  • 2GB RAM, and 16GB & 3GB RAM and 32GB options
  • 13MP main and 5MP front snapper
  • 3200mAh battery
  • 5.2-inch Full HD display
  • Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

The Plus variant, will only have a 16MP main camera, and laser auto-focus as an addition. The smartphones are expected to have a standard splash-proof water resistance rating.

The company is expected to be launched in India on 7 May.
