HTC today announced the launch of its much-awaited flagship devices in India - the HTC 10 and HTC 10 Lifestyle.
The HTC 10 would come in two colour variants -- carbon grey and Topaz Gold. The smartphone would be available for sale from 5 June at Rs 52,990.
The company also announced the launched of HTC One X9, the Desire 628 Dual SIM, Desire 630, Desire 825, and Desire 830 smartphones.
Speaking to ANI in an exclusive interview, the president of HTC South Asia, Faisal Siddiqui said although India is one of the fastest growing and highly competitive market for smartphones, the new flagship devices by HTC provide distinctive features with an outstanding user experience and have ability to compete in the Indian market.
"No doubt that India is one of the fastest growing market for smartphones but the new flagship devices by HTC provides distinctive feature with an outstanding user experience and has ability to compete in the Indian market. Each smartphone has a unique customer value proposition and is targeted at specific audience. We strongly believe our flagship HTC 10, the HTC one X9 and our youthful desire smartphones will capture the mindshare of our consumers," Siddiqui said.
"Our vision is to introduce desirable products along with bringing customer delight with enhanced after sales services experience through a series of focused initiatives," Siddiqui added.
The HTC 10 is powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC, while the HTC 10 Lifestyle is powered by a Snapdragon 652 SoC. The HTC 10 Lifestyle only features a 3GB of RAM/ 32GB inbuilt storage variant.
The One X9 comes in Carbon Grey and Topaz Gold colour variants and has been priced at 25,990, the Desire 628 Dual SIM (Cobalt White, Sunset Blue) would be available at Rs 13,990, and Desire 825 (Golden Graphite, Sparkle White) would be available at Rs 18,990.
