Last week saw the release of three films at Kerala Box Office. Two Malayalam films, Kismath, Mammootty starrer White and Bollywood release Dishoom.

Here is the Catch round-up of the new releases at the Kerala Box Office:

1) Kabali

Rajinikanth starrer Kabali continued its good run on the second weekend. As expected, the Thalaiva starrer outperformed the Malayalam superstar's White across Kerala. The film has minted nearly Rs 1.25 crore on its second weekend, taking its total to Rs. 14.75 crore at Kerala Box Office.

2) Anuraga Karikkin Vellam

Khalid Rahman's Anuraga Karikkin Vellam has completed 25 days at Kerala Box Office. The Eid release, which started slow compared to Kasaba and Sultan surprised everyone with its strong comeback at the Box office. The extreme positive reviews, good story and the performances from lead stars worked wonders for the film. The Biju Menon-Asif Ali starrer has also crossed the coveted Rs 10 crore mark at Kerala Box Office.

3) White

The much-anticipated Mammootty-starrer White opened to a dismal start at the Kerala Box Office. The film was expected to open well as the superstar-starrer also marked the Malayalam debut of Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi. The poor response came as a huge shock to the industry as the last Mammootty-starrer, Kasaba, which released last Eid, had opened to record-breaking collections. The Mammootty starrer had a lukewarm opening weekend with Rs 28 lakh on Friday, Rs 25 lakh on Saturday and Rs 32 lakh on Sunday. The opening weekend collections failed to cross even Rs 1 crore at the Kerala Box Office, becoming the biggest disaster of 2016.

4) Kismath

The second release of last Friday, Kismath opened to an average occupancy at the ticket windows. The film, which tells a unique love story between a 28-year-old Hindu girl and 23-year-old Muslim boy stars Shine Nigam and Sruthi Menon in lead roles. The film has been praised for its realistic content and had an above average weekend at Kerala Box Office.
