Janatha Garage: Mohanlal-Jr.NTR starrer emerges 2016's highest grosser

Seems like there is no stopping the Koratala Siva's Telugu film, Janatha Garage at the Box Office worldwide. The Mohanlal, Jr.NTR and Unni Mukundan starrer, which released on 1 September to a very positive response, continued to dominate the Box Office even on its fourth weekend as well.

After collecting an impressive Rs. 7 crore in its third week, Janatha Garage has collected another Rs. 1.5 crore in its fourth weekend. The total collection of the film now stands at a whopping Rs. 128.5 crore and with this the film it emerged the highest Telugu grosser of 2016.

The action entertainer has comfortably crossed the lifetime collections of Rs. 127.5 crore set by Allu Arjun's Sarrainodu. What's more? Janatha Garage has also entered into the all-time top five Telugu grossers list. The film is exactly Rs. 2.50 crore away to surpass the collections of fourth-spot film, Pawan Kalyan starrer Attarintiki Daredi. SS Rajamouli tops the list for being the biggest Telugu hit of all time.

Meanwhile, with Janatha Garage, Mohanlal and Unni Mukundan emerged as the first Malayalam actors to have Rs. 100 crore grossers in their kitty. Unni has started shooting for his second Tollywood outing,
