In Robot 2, Rajinikanth to fight huge machine birds

Kollywood director Shankar's upcoming magnum opus, Robot: 2.0 marks the return of Tamil megastar Rajinikanth in one of his most loved dual avatars - Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, the Robot. The film also marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar.

According to the latest update from Kollywood media, Robot 2 will feature huge 'advanced' machine birds. Reportedly, all these machine birds were created by the Hollywood company Legacy Effects under Shankar's supervision. What's more? The Thalaivar will be seen battling out with these birds sent by the main antagonist, Dr. Richard, played by Akshay Kumar in the film. Interestingly, the Bollywood Khiladi's look in the film, which had gone viral across social media few months back, resembles a crow. The shooting of the film is currently going on at a brisk speed in Chennai.

Enthiran 2 stars I actress Amy Jackson as the female lead. Produced by Lyca Productions on a whopping budget of Rs. 350 crore, Enthiran 2 is touted as the biggest Indian film ever made till date. The music of the film has been composed by Oscar winner AR Rehman. The first look of the film is scheduled to be revealed at a grand event in Mumbai on 20 November.
