A rugged Jr. NTR in the official first look of Janatha Garage

​The ​official first look of the​ much-awaited Telugu film, Janatha Garage, is out.​ Directed by Koratala Siva, ​​Janatha Garage​ ​clearly has a formidable star cast including Malayalam actor Mohanlal, Telugu superstar Jr. NTR, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Nithya Menen, Sai Kumar and Devayani.​ The film also marks the Tollywood debut of Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan.

​On Thursday evening, the makers of ​​Janatha Garage​ released the official first look of the film featuring the Telugu star.​ The first look was released as a birthday gift for Jr NTR's fans, as the actor is celebrating his 33rd birthday tomorrow. It shows the Temper actor in a rugged look. The Telugu superstar can be seen sporting a thick beard with short hair styled into spikes.

Touted as a family entertainer, Janatha Garage is about two brothers, with Jr NTR at the centre of it. The brothers are portrayed by Sai Kumar and Mohanlal. Jr NTR enacts the role of Sai Kumar's son in the film. Tamil actress Devayani is opposite Mohanlal.

The movie is written and directed by Koratala Siva and jointly produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar and CV Mohan under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. The mega budget film is slated to hit the screens on 12 August, 2016.

Meanwhile, another special poster of Janatha Garage featuring Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is scheduled to release on 21 May, 2016. Kerala's Laalettan will celebrate his 56th birthday on Sunday and the poster will be released as a birthday gift for the actor's fans.
