The US Department of Justice has said that it will share information regarding the ministers who accepted bribe from Louis Berger International Inc.

Earlier, the company had agreed that they paid bribe to various officials, including one Indian minister, in order to win the water development project in states of Goa and Guwahati.

The names of the officials were not disclosed by US, citing that they are restricted from releasing the names of officials whose names have not been mentioned in court documents.

However, it was made clear that if Government of India sought details of the people involved, then both the countries can share information.
