The Shiv Sena has strongly denounced the violence that happened in northeast Delhi saying that even 'Yamaraj' will resign from his post witnessing such 'barbarism'.

"The scene of the Delhi riots is heart-wrenching. Seeing the inhuman orgy of death, Yamraj will also resign from his post. Innocent children of Hindus and Muslims became orphans. We are creating a new world of orphans. The photo of Mudassar Khan's child, which was published worldwide, is a rip-off," the Shiv Sena wrote in its editorial.

"A photo of a boy standing in front of his dad's dead body was viral on social media. Who were those people who took life of over 50 people in violence? 50 is just a figure, but in reality, it will be over 100 and over 500 have been injured. Even after looking at the images of children who lost their family members, if people still believe in Hindu-Muslim, it is the death of humanity," the party wrote in Saamana.

In India, several children were orphaned because of riots and lot others in Maharashtra were orphaned because of unseasonal rains, Sena said.

The party also spoke briefly of strories of children who lost their parents in the violence. It also told stories of parents who lost their kids, regardless of their religious background.

The Shiv Sena further stated how the world is fighting over religion and "we are on the verge of major destruction".

"The world has reached the threshold of destruction because of the controversy over Hindutva, secularism, Hindu-Muslim, and Christian-Muslim. None of the gods run to help humans. Even the government shuts its door at the time of such crisis," the Shiv Sena said.

"Thomas Edison did not believe in any religion. But today, because of science and his invention, light reaches every house. More than religion, electricity is important. Religion won't give good or even a shelter," the editorial added.

The saffron outfit even turned down people’s offering to god at a time when the coronavirus outbreak has taken over the world.

"Look at how China is suffering today. People in the world have so many diseases but they resort to prayers. But, in the end, they have to intake medicine discovered by flamingo to get cured. Allah could not save Muddasar Khan; Bhagwan could not save Ankit Sharma. Look at the condition in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan -- so many kids have lost their parents," the Sena stated in Saamana.
