Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has kicked up a political storm, accusing the PDP-BJP coalition government of "brazenly" spying on him.
He drew the inference from the fact that a female journalist from a national daily who was interviewing her was stopped outside his gate and accosted and slapped by a CID officer.
He took to Twitter to make the accusation.
Mufti Govt brazenly spying on me. A journalist interviewing me for a national daily just got stopped right outside my gate by CID person.

Dear Mufti Sb if you & your apparatchiks want to know what I'm up to pick up the phone & ask me. Please don't accost people outside my gate!

However, PDP leaders denied the allegations claiming Abdullah was merely seeking attention.
It's quite hilarious that our Ex twitter Chief Minister (Omar Abdullah) is saying such a thing: Abhijit Jasrotia,PDP pic.twitter.com/AvDTtuy1b1
