BJP's Kamal Rani Varun Succumbs to COVID-19 in Lucknow Hospital

Uttar Pradesh Cabinet minister Kamal Rani Varun, who had tested positive for coronavirus, drew her last breath on Sunday at the age of 62. The Cabinet Minister had tested positive for the novel coronavirus on 18th July. She lost he life at the PGI Hospital in Lucknow.

Kamal Rani Varun served as the Minister of Technical Education in the Yogi Adityanath government. She was one of the most prominent fighter for women empowerment in Kanpur’s Ghatampur from where she was opted for in 2017.


Previously, Kamal Rani had retweeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address from Smart India Hackathon and lamented for the demise of Rajya Sabha MP Amar Singh.
