Bihar: Girl brutally gang-raped in Motihari

In yet another incident of sexual violence against woman, a girl was allegedly gang-raped by five men in Bihar's Motihari district after she lodged a formal protest against a molestation attempt on her by one of the accused.

According to reports, the victim was going to defecate in the field when one of the accused, Samiullah, molested her and made a video clip of the same.

The girl narrated the incident to her mother, who went to the accused's house to complain. However, the woes for the victim's family continued as they were instead insulted by the accused's family members, who refused to pay heed to their plight.

Offended by the allegations levelled by the victim's mother, the accused, along with his four male family members, barged into the victim's house, dragged her out and eventually gang-raped her.

The other four family members were identified as Aliullah, Javiullah, Klimullah and Nurullah.

The accused also forced a homemade gun and wooden sticks inside her private parts after which the girl collapsed. The accused later left the girl naked on the road side, assuming she was dead.

The victim later gained consciousness and called for help, following which the cops on patrolling duty admitted her to a primary health centre from where she was referred to Motihari Sadar Hospital.

The victim is currently in a critical condition while the accused are still at large.
